My Typical Client

I work with a select group of successful individuals who primarily have $500,000 or more of investable assets.  I also extend my services to clients’ family members, as working with multiple generations of the same family is one of my favorite things to do.

These successful individuals and families typically share a number of common concerns that I am well prepared to address.  In addition, at this level of investable assets, I will leverage Stifel’s resources to offer a broad array of investment and insurance options, retirement planning strategies, and even assistance with multigenerational wealth transfer.

 

What You Can Expect

If we both decide to move forward, you can expect to hear from me on a regular basis, including “check-ins” by phone and scheduled in-person meetings.  I also strive to be available for clients who call in with questions or concerns, either speaking with them the same day or within 24 hours.  I will provide you with an unbiased assessment of the economy and the markets and personalized updates on your portfolio’s performance, especially during periods of volatility.  Because money can be a very emotional topic, I enjoy educating my clients on the benefits of patient, thoughtful decision making to help them maintain focus on their long-term goals.

 

Your Part in the Process

While I can help you craft an investment plan and guide your family through various financial matters, you also play a critical role in a successful relationship.  While I strive to maintain regular contact, it’s vitally important that you keep me informed as changes in your life occur.

Specifically, I’ll ask you to reach out to me if your Situation, Priorities, or Feelings change.  SPF, like in sunscreen, is an easy way to remember it.  S, P, and F are the things happening in your life that I won’t know about unless you tell me.  I need to know when there is a change in SPF, so I can do my best to help you avoid getting burned.   

For example, if your Situation changes and you need to care for an aging parent, please let me know.  Or, if your Priorities change and you decide you’re ready to leave your job, reach out to me so I can help you plan for a successful exit.  Equally important, if your Feelings about your investments change and they’re causing you to worry or lose sleep at night, call me.  I can offer unbiased guidance and a nonjudgmental opinion.
